Each of these hand-wound cords is handmade by Isabela and her family in San Juan Chamula, Chiapas. The vibrant color combinations are a testament to the keen eye and playfulness of mayan designers. Its uses are bound only by your imagination: a curtain tie-back, funky belt, necklace, suitcase-marker, gift-wrap tie... we could go on, but love to see what you come up with! This one is named after Soraya Jiménez, a weightlifter who in the summer of 2000, because the first female Mexican athlete to win a gold medal.
Each cord varies slightly in length (approx. 5 to 6ft long).
